SHORT OUTDOOR BAR FURNITURE SELECTION GUIDE
If the bar has an outdoor area to be allocated to customers for consumption, sometimes it might be a good idea to invest adequate resources for a production of outdoor seating; Sometimes, but not always, because if the bar is a local who opts for quick breakfasts and has a view of a busy and noisy area of a large city, the outdoor seating would be only a problem to be managed.
Given this premise, just remember that the furniture out of a bar requires precautions other than for indoors.
First the material: the most widely used materials for the furniture outside of bars and hotels are teak wood, aluminium, stainless steel, galvanized iron or electrolysis and synthetic weave. Many of these are also often used for interior elements such as tables, chairs and stools for bars and restaurants, but for outdoor furnishing undergo a specific treatment, because they might run the risk of oxidation or deformation, to the action of atmospheric agents.
In this regard, when buying outdoor furniture complements one must also take into account where it will be located: open air bar tables and chairs will be more susceptible to weathering and the action of rain and smog and therefore should be cleaned periodically and taken to sheltered areas during idle periods. Fewer problems (mainly) instead, in case of outer space set up under a gazebo or otherwise in an environment protected from rain and Sun.
After the material and positioning, needs to be tackled the question design. In this case there are no precise rules, but you can follow the steps to make the environment more comfortable and harmonious. The exteriors designed bar tables can be decorated with stretched rectangular or oval, rather than with modular lounges. In contrast, circular or square lines spaces designed to accommodate very well round or square outdoor bar tables, living rooms composed of sofas and armchairs, or Sun lounges (in case of bar by the sea or the gardens of hotels) coupled with other pieces of furniture such as coffee tables or footrest.
Finally, decide If the outdoor seating is only used during the summer or year-round and at what time of the day. The choice will fall on gas heating installation (or even electrical), lanterns, night operation and ventilation systems or water spray to be placed between the tables and chairs at the bar. The latter will be particularly appreciated in the most sweltering, but remember: evaporation-based systems do not work when the humidity is higher than 80%.
