These slicers have been built with a fixed ring which protects the cutting edge of the blade even if the central blade cover and the sharpener have been removed during cleaning and maintenance of the machine. The structure of the machine is made in strict accordance with standard EN 1974 for professional slicers. The machines have a double switch with a relay which requires manual re-starting (reset) if a power failure occurs. The carriage is fixed and can only be removed for cleaning with a special tool.
